Seventeen years ago, we began a journey to reach men and women in prison with the transformative power of God's love. Today, our movement has established 70 church campuses, reached 420,000 prison tablets and we’ve shared the gospel with over 2 million inmates. As we aim to reach another 2 million by expanding our reach, we invite you to stand with us. No one is too far gone—donate today to help bring the gospel to those who need it most.

As of today, we have partnered with local churches to establish 70 prison church campuses across the United States. Week in and week out, incarcerated men and women get to attend church the same way people in the free world do: volunteers to greet them and pray for them, pastors and team that love them and counsel them, and a church family that they get to belong to, even while incarcerated. Ensuring that men and women have access to a church family in prison not only enriches lives but also leads to a reduction in recidivism rates and contributes to healthier communities.
Our goal in 2025 is to launch 12 more church campuses behind bars.
Since its inception in 2021, PandoApp has reached 2,315,866 incarcerated men and women with the gospel. 694,442 of them have made a decision to follow Christ! Through this app, inmates are able to stream worship music, sermons, devotionals, books, and more 24/7. This is the most comprehensive spiritual resource ever offered in prisons and it’s creating a hunger for the Word of God that cannot be contained! Overall, PandoApp serves as a vital tool for spiritual growth and finding freedom in Christ, helping incarcerated men and women find hope and purpose while they are behind bars.
Our goal in 2025 is to launch to 200,000 more prison tablets.
A significant milestone in our ministry happened just a year ago when God Behind Bars introduced The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) to correctional facilities across the United States. TUMI offers a Church-Based Seminary Curriculum that helps participants dive into scripture and apply it to their lives. Through a streamlined version of the TUMI Capstone program called Cornerstone, inmates can complete the course in 12-18 months and earn a Certificate in Christian Ministry. Since we started this initiative, God Behind Bars has successfully launched 8 TUMI Satellites with 180 students enrolled. In June 2024, we had the opportunity to celebrate our first TUMI graduation at Everglades C.I. 18 men graduated and received certificates of ministry, and all but a few went on to continue the next course offered through TUMI.
Our goal in 2025 is to launch 12 more TUMI programs in prison.
Family reunification events are a cornerstone of our ministry, creating meaningful opportunities for incarcerated individuals to reconnect with their loved ones in a supportive, loving environment. These events allow children to spend precious time with their mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, or grandparents, often for the first time in years. Families share warm meals, exchange gifts, and receive back-to-school supplies, all while enjoying quality time outside the usual confines of a sterile visitation room. These moments foster healing, hope, and restoration, strengthening family bonds and encouraging positive transformation.
Our goal in 2025 is continue to host as many family reunification events as possible.
Through our special evangelistic worship events, we reach prisons where God Behind Bars has yet to plant church campuses. These gatherings are powerful opportunities to share the gospel with incarcerated men and women, creating an atmosphere of worship and renewal behind bars. In 2024, hundreds of inmates heard the message of hope in Christ for the first time, with many making decisions to follow Him and being baptized. Worship events create lasting spiritual impact, stirring revival in places where it is most needed.
Our goal in 2025 is continue to host as many worship events as possible.
