This week, the GBB team is headed inside El Buen Pastor to transform the space where twenty babies and toddlers learn and play; reunite mothers with the families they almost never see; and get every mother and child a safe warm bed.

There are 20 children under three years old living with their mothers who are incarcerated. 19 women are currently pregnant, and 2 newborns were recently born into custody.

This week, your gifts will become:‍

1. A rebuilt play area with safe ground instead of broken concrete

2. Warm bedding for every mother and child

3. Birth necessities for the nineteen mothers about to deliver

4. A family reunification day for women who rarely see their families

Thanks to those who have already given gifts, we had a construction crew inside El Buen Pastor tearing out the cracked slab and pouring new ground. It's still in progress, but we're so excited for what's to come! Every one of these kids leaves the prison gates for good when they turn three years old, but until then, this is the only world they know, and we'd like it to be a better one.
