God Behind Bars just hosted a speaker event with Maria Durso of Saints Church in a maximum security women’s prison in New York, and it was incredible! 56 women attended to hear worship and a message, which was 10% of the whole prison’s population! Six women then gave their lives to Jesus for the very first time, and many more seeds were planted through this event that we were able to be a part of.
Please join us in praying for the women who just said yes to Jesus for the first time, the women who haven’t yet turned their lives over to him, and for favor as we begin to launch a new God Behind Bars prison location there, too!
After reunifications in Oklahoma and Las Vegas, we went to Texas, and in Bartlett and Allred we watched 98 more children run into the arms of their parents in a family reunification that was as amazing as any other so far.
There has never been a greater urgency to reach men and women behind bars. The cycle of generational incarceration is massive, but together we get to do something about it.
